1993 gt value

[Bolt on 5.0]

Guys I just passed up buying a '93 mustang gt. I was going to bid on it but wasnt sure. What I want to know is, will changing a aod mustang to 5 speed lower the resale value of the car.

Lets say I bought it and switched the trans so 100,000 stock car, fresh 5 speed, new clutch and flywheel, new quality paint job, nice leather and no rust. What would you pay for the car? All factory panels except left front fender.

If done correctly, one wouldn't know the difference aside from the sticker on the door and ford records.

With that said, if done right, it wouldn't affect price in my mind.

I would think 5 speed is prefered by 90 % of mustang owners
