just get a k&n filter, and ditch the air silencer, and GEARS!!, 373's are great for daily driving.......

Yes, gears. Forget about the entire intake and go with what 98COBRA281 suggested.

Save up for full PI swap and you will be VERY satisfied compared to throwing $$$ at useless bolt ons, save for exhaust work, because it will help.

No, you or you're tuner can adjust the amounts but not the pressure

in WOT mode the pcm ignores the O2's and feeds based on progammed fuel maps.

a cheap 65 dollar tune is to add fuel pressure on return cars(87-97) 98's use hybrid setup.

it does the same as a tuner to some extent. it will improve power from an A/F ratio stand point.

the mods i listed are cheap and efffective. they are the first i did on my 96. makes it feels like it had some power. my guesstimate at the time was 245 flywheel hp vs. 215 stock.

165 for cheap "X", 65 for regfualtor, and 200 for gears plus installation. now is a time to learn to do your own stuff BTW.

What kind of regulator did you buy and what did you set the pressure at, and how did you determine the pressure to set it at? Thanks.

blue oval industries sells a good regulator for $65-75.
i figured it out on the dyno, but you can track run it and get it close.

also a PI intake(metal water cross-over) swap with PI gaskets. you dont need a head swap to get most of the power of a PI. use silicone sealer. it will rev to 5500 instead of the 5100 now.

you do those changes and you'll be happy.

lastly throw on a set of hedman torque step long tubes. adapt the x-pipe and you'll be near 270 crank hp.

Head swaps are over rated in my opinion. The PI intake swap will give you a nice bump.
