2 problems

i changed the brake pads in the rear of the mustang and now i cant get good solid pedal. how do i get a good pedal. i didnt open the lines so there is no way air got in there. also i was backing up and my leg had a muscle spasm and i managed to dump the clutch in reverse, it killed the instantly (the car did more jumping than anything and the maf was disconnected from the air inlet tube.) but now when in reverse it chatters a little. the tranny does everything else like it should just a little noisy in reverse should i be worried

Have you repeatedly pumped the brake pedal to reset the pad-to-rotor interface?

I thought the parking brake did the rear adjustment? Did you try cranking the parking brake arm up and down a few dozen times? My pedal feel didn't really change much at all after I did my rears last week

check and see if your leaking brake fluid, also it doesn,t hurt to bleed the brake.

try pumping the brakes with car off, is it solid??
try pumping the brakes with the car on, is it solid?

does the pedal lose the soliditiy when pressed?

DID YOU CHECK FLUID LEVEL?
