I just changed the clutch on my 01 GT. According to my door panel the transmission was a T45 as the door panel shows a 6 under the TR label. This called for a 10" clutch kit. After taking the tranny out I see my clutch is much larger. I end up getting the 11" kit which fits perfect. Now I'm confised. Do I have a T45 or a 3650 transmission. Did Ford put the wrong label on the door panel. I bought this new so I know it's the original transmission. I also have an 8 bolt flywheel not the 6 bolt.

Can anybody clarify this for me???

I wanna say if the drain plug is on the bottom, it's a 3650. If its on the side, it's a T45.

Is it hard to compare the stock part to the new part you want to avail?
