Well, I would like to finally install my Gentex Autodimming Mirror with Compass, Temp, and Homelink. I ordered my 2007 Vert with the Comfort Group Package that included the Autodimming Compass Mirror, so I would like to see if I could splice directly into those wires. Since they are already there and made to power a mirror, I think it would make more sense to slice into those, instead of running new wiring to the fuse block and tapping in there. If anybody has access to a diagram and drawing of the stock 2007 autodimming compass mirror wiring harness I would greatly appreciate it if you could share it with me. Thanks in advance! Buster
I have a wiring diagram book for the '05. Hope this helps, it's from the roof of the '05 vert. There is a plug (#9013) at the top of the windshield behind the center of the headliner which has 8 wires in a 10 wire plug. (2 are not used) Pin #1 (white/light blue) .......voltage supplied at all times (overload protected) Pin #2 (red/light blue)........... intrusion sensor module Pin #3 (black)......................ground Pin #4 (light green/yellow).....interior lamp, on demand Pin #5 (black/light blue)........interior lamp feed Pin #6 (light blue/orange)......convertible top switch, lower signal Pin #7 (violet/orange)...........convertible top switch, raise signal Pin #8 (orange/red)..............illumination Pins #9/#10 are not used I hope it's the same between years and this will help.
