    Hello everyone,
This is my first post and i hope i can get some help from someone. I recently traded in my 91 notchback for a 2001 cobra svt. Love this car but i have noticed some tranny problems. At times the car is hard to put into gear, like somthing is blocking it. I have heard of some fixes for this such as changing the fluid to the redline d4 and reducing the levels. If this has worked for anyone please let me know or if u have another fix let me know . Love the car but cant stand the way it shifts! Thanks!

Welcome aboard to Stangnet. There are probably a couple of TSBs/fixes available for your TR-3650 but I don't know the numbers offhand. It seems like some of these transmissions are hit or miss, the previous owner could have damaged the trans as well (missed a shift or two).

In any event, the following TR-3650 thread over in our 4.6L Modular section (very comprehensive) is worth reading when you have some spare time:

Here's a link to a thread over on Modular Depot. It has a pic of one of the TSBs in the very first post:

    G'luck.
