I'm getting my engine together to install in my 69 Cougar. It's a 96 Explorer 306 I built 10 years ago and installed in a Ranger. I have looked everywhere and can not find a Mustang with the Explorer front accessories. I know the HO series 5.0 Mustang stuff will fit. The only thing I will not be needing is the power steering pump as I have the EPAS setup. I know and plan to get a front sump pan and will blaze a oil dipstick into it. Don't really want to try drilling the timing cover. I do have a 351W sitting here with everything on it, but even if the front accessories off it would fit, it has the old low amp alt. and York A/C compressor. This engine has a lot of work in it and still runs very strong, so it is going to fit one way or the other.
