I have the whole front disk assembly off a 1999 v6 mustang minus the spindles, my question is there much difference between them and the v8s? will i have better stopping distance with 6cyl setup over my 4 lug gt set up? will it be noticeable?

everything was free so thats why i took it.

6-banger and GT brakes are the same in terms of calipers/spindles/rotors/etc.

You scored good. 99+ GT/V6's have the twin-piston PBR calipers. Yes you will notive a difference.

Just make sure you do your research. You will need to get yourself a set of 94-95 spindles to keep stock offset and will have to do minor grinding to the spindle for the caliper to clear
