My buddy is going to give me his 71 mach one seats he has because my seats are horrible (not stock seats). They look like after market fox body seats possibly and they are beat up. Will I have any problems putting in the 71 seats?

    No, they will bolt in

hehe....forget to preface that...they will bolt in by swapping the correct year seat tracks onto them

its been awhile since I have looked, but the mounts are different at least in my 73. so you need to use the 67 seat mounts.

So if I get the seat tracks for a 67, put them on the 71 mach one seats and everything will bolt on nicely?

    thats the theory :D

I swapped in late models seats from a sn95. I had to drill out the rear two mounting holes since my 67's brackets were a little to short.

I know that my 73's seat brackets are different. they bolt to the floor rather than having studs that poke through the seat platform. but they should be the same width, and they are flat on the bottem.
