Ok, I have done a 5 lug conversion once before and bought the axles myself and NO problem.
I purchased a set of axles from another local board quite some time ago and didnt think much about it. I went to install the axles last night and ran into a small problem.
The axles physically fit in the rear end, were the right lenght, spline, etc. But when I went to put the brake drums on... no fit
The drums are brand new 9" 90 ranger drums with a 2.5" center hole. The mustang 4 lug drums were also 9" with the 2.5 center hole.
The axle has a 2.75 hub register ring on it. The axles came in a box marked E3TZ-4234-C and are listed for the ranger with 7.5".
Did I get something special, or axles for the 10" drums?
