I have a tap set and suppose I could put a plug in it this eve. I really am not a fan of that even though I know others have had luck with it (My luck isn't near as good normally).
Latemodel is attempting to get the part sent out this morning in an attempt to get it to me tomorrow morning. That will give me a bit of time (with assistance from my awesome wife) to install and at least bleed the brakes. Then I can do the hillbilly alignment on it so it can be driven to the local show, then to paint on Monday, then once out of paint take it for a real alignment.
I still also have to get the tail pipes welded to the mufflers. I've got one that just won't sit quite right and I can't get it adjusted any better laying on my back 6 inches away from it.
All in all I'm rather excited to drive the car and actually have it stop. The stock booster that came out was so bad it didn't have any resistance at all when you pressed the pedal. The car had no vac assist with the already bad stock fox brakes.
Unfortunately this summer will likely but on jack stand stint after another. I've got the T-5 setup coming this month as well and I'll tear into it sooner than later to get rid of the slush box. Then I can leave the major stuff alone until winter, just in time to pull the motor, do a gt40 setup and paint the engine bay. May even do a Vortec on it for more fun. Also need to actually build the rear. Will do 31 spline, 3.73 gears, moser axles and a new carbon fiber traction lock (Likely just buy a new cobra carrier).
So many plans, to little money.
