With only 28K miles on my stock clutch, it's started slipping. Even though I've increased HP in my car to about 300+ fwhp, I expected the stock clutch to hang in there much longer.

My driving style with the stock clutch: I've run the track maybe about 12 times, beat every ricer at every traffic light, and attempted one (unsuccessful) burnout <- what an ass i was! Other than that, I have actually been pretty tame with the car (as tame as every other mustang driver I suppose  .)

Was i smoking crack to expect the stock clutch to last longer?

90K... which helps prove the point that the stocker should have lasted a lot longer in my car. I don't ride the clutch... I'm off of the clutch at every possible opportunity.

Ford did rebuild my tranny when the car was still under warranty (before the supercharger of course). But at that time it was a syncromesh problem. Of course, since the rebuild, I've had a small oil leak... I think the rear main oil seal. Not sure if that's contributing to the clutch slipping or not.

Thanks for your info...
