Subject: 95-98 Cobra calipers/13" rotors.
I bought the calipers and rotors in "good" condition at a swap meet. ($150, not bad.) I wasn't really counting on using the rotors but, I have had them turned anyway. The "throwaway" thickness is 1.039". (I think) One of them is 1.066" and the other is 1.036". Do you think I could get away with using these for a summer or so? (The 1.036" has me wondering. Only .003" but, still wondering.) My thought is that I'll be ok using them.

Also, to put these on a 94 GT, do I need a different master cylinder or can I use the one that's on the GT, now?

Thanks in advance! :SNSign:

use them until you get new pads next...then get new ones

That's kinda what I was thinking. I don't have pad's yet. I was going to just buy the $30 discount parts store specials to get through this summer. Then, over the winter get the cross drilled rotors with ceramic pads.

Even with the caliper paint that I bought, I would still have less than $200 in Cobra fronts. ;)
