Hi guys! Once again I come to you for help and advice.
As some of you know I am looking to buy a 67 or 68 fastback, and I'm continuously on the lookout. I have come over one car on eBay which is a 68 C-code. He has a Buy it Now-price of $20,000. The car is partly restored, but has quite a few things left on it to do. The underdash-wiring could be replaced just to update and clean up, re-install a factory type A/C system (some components still on the car), replace the rear shocks and add front disk brakes. And the car also has to dents and it also needs a repaint. Engine rebuilt and interior is fine. Rebuilt from manual to automatic trans.
What do you guys would be a fair price for this car?
Thanks a lot for your help. You're the best.
    Erik

I'd say the top price would be 15k, with 12k being fair. One thing I've found lately in the used mustang world is that every engine and transmission was recently rebuilt. Barring some documentation, I'd just figure on one or the other needing some work also.

Allright, thanks a lot guys! I let this one go. It did sound a little bit too much. I'll continue looking for the right one. Thanks again!
