In short, here it is!

I bought my car last August from someone who is supposed to be a good guy. He advertised the car thru PA in Virginia.

I commissioned this individual to do some work before I took delivery. Well, most things were done OK, just OK. But the rear end was a complete mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pinion bearing nearly fell off when it was taken out and the track loc had no tabs on the clutch packs and was totally put together wrong.

Now, to be honest, Mark Lamaskin did say this guy was a good guy, but I totally disagree. Beside me paying for NEW FRPP gears to be installed in which he used a set of USED gears from an Explorer I have been totally screwed on my purchase.

Not blaming Mark the least bit as he has no control of what this man has done. Mark is a stand up guy.

I just want everyon to know that you should not buy a car EVER from CW in Virginia. If you want to know the actual name PM me.

I was going to pursue legal action in which i have every recourse in doing so, but it is simply not worth my time.

And to boot, he is a retired ford mechanic. Wonder how many other cars he has butchered.

And to top it all, I have NEVER received any receipts from any of the parts or labor I commissioned him to do.

Be careful!!!

I gave him plenty of opportunity after I took delivery of the car. I explained the problems to him and he basically shunned me! i was willing to work it out, he wasn't. I forgot about it for a while and just recently ( yesterday) when my mechanic called to tell me about what he found I had to vent a little.

Ethics and integrity are two words I live by! Just makes me mad that others choose not to have any.

That sucks.
This is part of the reason i tell people no rear end work by anyone other than a seasoned performance specialist.
One wrong move and you have a pile of junk.
