I know there are many builders out there willing and able to do engine swaps. My question lies with whether there is anyone out there who has actually created 'packages' for 05/06 engine swaps, or engine/suspension package upgrades that are installed for specific price ranges? This would be especially beneficial for all V-6 owners wanting to upgrade somewhere down the line.
I know you can buy 3-valve engines from a few different dealers, but I have not noticed any ads for swaps. If someone was interested in upgrading a V-6 car to a V-8 it would take a lot more than just an engine swap. The rear would need to be changed out to the 8.8" type, the pcm would have to be replaced, the gauge cluster would give the wrong rpm reading, the transmission would have to be upgraded to a 3650 from the t-5 (if manual) and there are many wiring harness issues just to name a few hurdles.
