APC is a ricer company. The seats they make however DO look nice, but I don't like that they say "APC" on them. People will ridicule you for owning APC stuff
I've sat in both, and the APCs are *tolerable* at best. I have Corbeau CR1's and the difference is night-and-day. If you can afford the extra loot, I highly recommend it.
Okay, I think that I have everyone's opinion on the APC's. I'm glad that I asked. How about the X2C motorsports racing seats? I saw the article in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords and their cars are sick. The site is:
APC is one of the WORST companies I have ever seen products from. Everything from their seat belt covers (lol), to their retarded altezza style tailights, are cheap-looking piles of crap.
Personally, I would give my buddies the beating of a lifetime if they ever put PC junk in thier cars. ( hehe)
Those X2C seats look alright. The only thing is that they don't recline. If that isn't a must for you, I don't think you can beat $400 for two seats. And they can be ordered as direct bolt ins which means less work for you.
Well, it looks like after all this I'll probably go with the Corbeau Legacy racing seats. I'm really looking to keep the black/grey look because I have the 35th anniversary package.
