Automatic Almost Stalling?!?!

My 2000 GT has been having some wierd engine problems. Sometimes when I would be idling at a light it would almost stall on me. the rpm's will drop to below 500 then spike to almost 1000. Sometimes it would even make my car jump a foot or too, even if my foot is on the brake. I thought it was bad gas so I put some fuel injecotr cleaner and 93 octane gas in it to see if that was the case, but it still happens.....

Time for a new Ford IAC.

Yup a new IAC should fix the problem. Only get it from FORD not autozone.

Yea I had that problem too but mine endedup being in my tune though. Yours is most likely a bad IAC unless you recently got a tune.

Alright, how much do the facotry ones from Ford go for??? And would I be able to install it myself easily or have it professionally installed??

I think it was like $75 or something like that I can't remember. Do the install your self it will only take five minutes to do.
