2nd time ever autoxing, first time in the mustang, last time was in my mazda 3

It was a blast, every run got faster except the last, I DNF'd cause i hit a dirt/dust patch and lost it. I know i have ALOT to work on lol, Im getting smoother on my steering.
The suspension is bone stock, but i have cobra brakes.
Trickflow twisted wedge heads, tf stage 1 cam, tf street heat intake, long tube headers, shifter, 3.73 gears, few other small boltons
Best part is my nitto drag radials and some no name front tires lol.
First run was funny cause rear end kept going loose, but after first run the tires were warmer and gripping so it wanted to understeer alot.

    Nice!

I noticed on your 3rd and 4th runs that the rear view mirror is out of position. Did you do that on purpose? Or just clunk it with your helment getting in? (I have to move mine, when I autox. Keeps me from wasting my time looking for tumbling cones. ;) )

All that extra power certainly isn't necessary for autox, is it?

A friend of mine gave me the tip to move the rear view mirror out of the way :)

No the car is overpowered for its suspension as far as autox is concerned. I have a stock suspension with nitto drag radials lol. Definately not ideal for autox, but it was fun anyways. I reccommend autox for everyone, it really lets you learn the limits of your car. When I first built this car it was only for going fast in a straight line, my next mustang I will definately concentrate more on suspension :D
