hey guys, i have a 07 GT with nothing more than a few bolt ons, Steeda UDP, intake, and tune. Its auto with stock 3:31 gears. I drive 60-70 miles daily, and i want to put 4:10 gears in it. Its all highway driving, my question is, would it hurt the motor raising the RPMS during the commute in any way? I've heard it would throw my driveshaft out of balance as well turning those RPMS for that amount of time. I drive around 70-75mph, i'm not really worried about gas mileage though. Any help would be greatly appreciated!:flag:

i have 4.10s and at around 70-75 rpms are around 2500, at higher speeds its only about 250 more rpms so its not bad at all. plus they kick ass and its worth it to have in a DD, i run a 400 mile trip 8-10 times a year and have no problem

I commute 60 miles roundtrip in mine at 70+ MPH and it revs well under 3000 RPM. In fact I need to hit 80 MPH before I hit 3000. I've had the gears since April and have put just over 15000 miles on them with absolutely no problems to date. MPG hasn't been bad at all either...with mixed driving I'm getting right at or near 20 MPG.
