My friend has a 03 GT and has the rotors and calipers from a Cobra. Does he need some kind of adapter to fit the calipers up front? Some bracket that allows it to fit or is it a direct bolt up kinda thing. After driving his car last night he really needs to do it as his brakes suck :notnice: So ill help install them I just wana make sure we have all the parts up front.

Where is the best place to get the right parts and a junkyard is out cause the ones around here wont have one :(

Cobra/Mach/Bullitt front brakes have a caliper bracket that needs to be bolted on to the spindle/wheel assembly. The caliper then attaches to the bracket with a slide pin/e clip on the bottom and a semi-hex interlock at the top. Try Randy (Liberty) or Steve (Tousley) for OEM parts.

I could be mistaken, but you may or may not need a line adapter to fit the hard lines to the new Cobra lines on the calipers. Last time I did something like this, it was on my 87, so I may be wrong because of that.
