Hey like I said earlier...everybody has a method, though that's definately not the method I would use, it's an option. Just remember the majority of cars roll off the assembly line and from day one the only "break-in" they receive is however that particular owner decides to do so...with the great majority going on to lead quite high milage lives.
 
Thanks for all the advice. I guess since a new clutch is going in as well it will be a gentle break in. The T-5 is a fresh rebuild also and the 3.73's are new too. So after I introduce enough load to seat the rings, the consensus is to change the oil right away and then later around 500. The original engine was broken in hard right after I left the dealer. I changed the oil right at 500 miles and it lasted and ran strong up until 197,240 miles. I can't wait to dyno it and get some runs in at the track next year.
