Sorry for the silly question but I want to order a new set of interior bulbs for the map light as well as a set of the white reverse lights for a new set of LED tail lights I ordered (all the lights are LED except for the reverse lights which seem a little odd).

If anyone has that info handy I'd really appreciate it so that I can hopefully have the parts for the weekend.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Thanks BigCat for your help. I finally got back and was able to look at my car and the manual, but I can't figure out for the life of me how you would go about changing the interior map lights, it doesn't seem to show it in the manual anywhere either.

Does anyone know how to change the maplights (or gain access to them)?

    Thanks again,

    Matt

i have not tried to access the bulbs, but i have taken the map light cover off. just pull straight down, and it should come off pretty easy. i am pretty sure that you will be able to change the bulbs with it removed.

I managed to pull down the map light cover but unfortunately wasn't able to find an easy way to access the bulbs themselves. Am I missing something? Thanks

Has anyone had any luck in changing the bulbs? I feel like a total newb asking this but I can't seem to see any place where there'd be a logical opening.

i went out and removed the assembly for you. it did take me a little while to figure it out as well. i popped the lens off, then figured out how the bulb come out. sure glad i didnt break the lens, as it is a tight fit.

to remove the bulb, put a thin screwdriver under the edge of the bulb socket, and pry it up. very easy once you figure it out. it wont come out easily by pulling it, but prying it works well.

    here are the pics...

Wow Bigcat, you go above and beyond! I didn't expect you to tear out your whole assembly, I did the same thing with the lens and thought it was going to break too. I'm so glad mine didn't break, but even more so that your's didn't break.

Thanks again, if there's anything I can do for you just give me a shout.

    Cheers,
    Matt
