C4 install help needed PLEASE!!!!!!

    I just got thru taking it for a drive, and my C-4 with 3.27 gears, @ 60mph I was around 2800 rpm

    I was looking into that same trans when I was getting ready to do mine, but opted for a known reputable builder. I called Art Carr and got their C4 convertion kit, (C4 full manual reverse pattern w/brake, SFI bellhousing, SFI flywheel, 9" convertor, SFI shield, Trans Mount, Trans Cooler. Basicaly everything you need to swap in the C4 minus the shifter. The total kit was $2300, which I thought was fair and I got a trans from a known builder that I can depend on.

    Art Carr has plenty of horror stories as well...just never heard anything bout these guys yet (negative)...I was told to stay away from Art Carrs current stuff.

    Performance Automatic or Dynamic seem to be both good mail order builders, as well as ATI and PTC.
