I have a 72' C4 pan fill trans. with the stock pan. Does anyone know how much fluid it holds with a stock and dry torque converter. I need the help as it is the only thing left to finish before I start the car.

Dont just put in all in then start it , put like 4 qts in and then start the car and let idle. If you installed a new torque converter then you should had added about 1/2 to 1qt to the converter at assembly to prevent a dry start up.
