Can I supercharge my car w/10.5:1 compression?

Guys,

What's your oppinions? With the mods in my sig. can I safely run a supercharger with maybe 6 or 8 lbs of boost with 10.5:1 compression. Will I be risking an explosion of some sort. I've talked to a few different people, and got a few different responses. Though none of them were running a sc with that compression. Any oppinions, and first hand experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry guys my mistake. My engine is 10:1 compression, not 10.5:1

if you get a custom cam you can bleed off some compression with overlap, there is a guy on turbomustangs thats running 15psi with pump gas and 10.5:1 compression.

I was thinking about doing it on my motor, but its not worth the hassle, just spray it... you cylinder pressures are going to be much higher and its pretty risky, especially on a stock block
