Well cleaned via wiped it down. Now mind you this is the factory 16yr old paint job (built from June 93 - Aug 93). Not bad IMHO...a few dings (notice the ding on the drivers side panel below the middle of the qrtr glass, and some clear chipped away on the ground effects. All in all she cleans up well. I also did a little chang up under the hood. This is the first set of pics with the bullitt springs/struts/shocks on the car. The front is a tad higher now that fresh struts are on...I hope it settles a tad still.

What do you guys think about the tore up paint, 16yr old, and beat on car? I just need to get some pics with the pro-stars on now.

1/4 is kind of a sore topic at the moment...been a long road...sorting out issues.

I don't have any "good" 1/4 times yet. Had valve train issues, then from the valve train I suspected lifter issues (pulled the intake 2x's, once for the correct PR then again to replace the lifters). I did not have the money set aside at the time to do both/check both at the same time.

Best 1/4 so far was a 14.1 @100 shifting at 4k after getting the correct PR length. I noticed power was falling off and double checked at a local "dyno day" put down 258wrhp and 283 rwtq at 4200rpm with 28* 100* day with 80-90% humidity the same way it ran that 1/4 number. It gained like 5rwhp from 4500 to 5000 and fell off.

Have not made it back to the track yet. Hope to dyno again and test and see what timing it likes most in a month or two waiting on a sched for that. Some buddies and I are wanting to hit the track up it just depends on our sched. Shooting for low 13's on motor (would be happy with that) and deep in the 12's on a 150shot...maybe...maybe high 11's. Depends on trackion and anything blowing up (rear/t5).

tires are 315's. Thanks for the compliments

The clear on the roof is gone in big strips on mine as well. I sanded down/blended some of them and buffed it some to make it less stand out-ish.

I have buffed it out and it does help. knocks down the haze from the clear starting to go south.

I also took the pics at angles that did not show the strips of clear missing. There are a TON of areas were I can see the clear getting ready to flake/chip/bubble off. It is not bad for OEM for sure...really 10yrs is a good life, 16 and in this shape is amazing if you ask me. Especially with the abuse it has seen.

I'm saving up just to repaint the roof (in between the "sails"), it should hold me over a few more yrs until I can one day paint the whole thing. For some reason Ford just really bombed when it came to our roofs/tail lights :nonono:.
