Cobra ii $1000

    About 10 mins away from my house.. there is a really nice 1978 cobra ii.. original owner.. 50k miles.. 4-spd..... $1000 :rolleyes: .. kinda tempted on buying it and swapping motors/trannies and the front header panel and selling the 74.... what do you guys think... i am going to go look at it again tomorrow and i will snap pics.... immacualte interior... too nice to describe

    Well.. heres the decision... my brother bought a 64 that needs an engine and tranny.. sooo.. we're gonna go halves.. and i take the body he gets the drivetrain.. Which works perfectly.. And I am going to put my 302 in.. some of the mods are in my sig but they are.. 600cfm holley dbl pumper elec., polished knockoff manifold of edelbrock rpm, D80E Ported Polished and Rebuilt heads ( just bought today ), aluminum radiator, stall converter, new 3.40 rear.. :) :) :).

    Sounds nice...I wish I could come across a deal like that. I miss my Cobra II. I had swapped a 302 from a Grand Torino into it and it was a nice ride.
