Hey guys, I'm thinking about some 17" cobra rims. If you have pictures, please post them up! Also, what is the largest tire that will fit in the back for a lowered stang? I have a 1.5" drop. Thanks! Tanner
i can fit 315's no problem at all! you should get teh deepdish chrome cobras, i think they would look sooo hot on your car

Well as stated in the other thread i bought a set of these, 17x9 and 17x10.5 '03 Cobra's machined face with black cutouts.
^^ those are some nice rims. I'm looking for new edge pix though since I have a black 2000. I meant to say 03/04 cobra rims ( I don't really like the Cobra R kind). I'm caught between the 03 cobra's and the saleen type...but I can't find a 17x10.5 saleen rim . I think 18" rims look too big IMO.
i have some 99 cobras on a 97 gt if you want to see pictures of those. Its neither a new edge or 03-04 cobra rims but hey they are cobra
If you are using 17x9 03/04 Cobra rims, you should not be running 245 tires. They ware too small for a 9 inch rim.
They're whatever an 04 Cobra had on them, I bought them from a friend of mine who pun on BC Smoothies on his. His choice though. As for the tires they fit fine there is a very slight lip on them but nothing crazy. Anybody know the widest tire you can fit on those rims for sure, I know I said I thought you could fit a 295-305 on them but Im not sure.
According to tire rack, you can fit 315's on a 10.5" wide rim. A 245 on a 9" rim should be OK as well. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?make=Hoosier&model=A6&tirePageLocQty= BTW Yellow- did you put 10.5" rims in the rear? Where did you buy the rims, and how much did they cost?
