Coolant Temperature Sensor location?

Is the coolant temperature sensor (DY-681 F2AZ-12A648-A) on a 93 5.0 located between the 1st and 2nd injectors on the driver side?

The Chilton manual says to use teflon tape on the new sensor threads but it already has red "stuff" on the threads, do I still need to use it?

The red sealer will do the same thing. No, the tape in not nessasary.

The gauge's sender is behind the dizzy in the lower intake (driver side) and the ECT is on the pass side front.

No, the 2 wire is for the computer. A single wire is used on the temp sending unit.

It does have two wires, one is not shown by the picture angle.
