Does anyone have any good pics of a cowl hood on a II. Im pretty set on getting one...but the only problem is I dont know where to get one from. What choices do i have? Does anyone sell a complete hood either steel or fiberglass? Or do i have to have a body shop make it out of my old hood.
    any help would be great.
    thanks,
    Pat

See those taillights right in front of you?
On a slightly related topic, has anyone ever tried to make a Ram-Air style hood?? I was looking at a 77 hood set on my 74, and I think it might me possible. Dont have a clue how much work it might be, though.

speaking of hoods.......is anyone good with photoshop to mold a Mach 1 style hood onto a II? That would definitely rock, but extremely time/money consuming.

Last weekend I saw what I was told is a '79 cowel grafted to a '76 Cobra.

It didn't look that bad, if that's what your into. Looked simular to what George has posted but not as tall.

If your patient I am installing a 3 1/2 inch cowl scoop. It will done in 2 weeks and I can get you a picture. The ones shown above are too big (wide) to look good on the small II hood. If this one turns out as I hope it will look incredible. This one (links) is a smaller one that is 2 1/2 if you like this one. I can even sell you this one since I am installing the taller one to accomodate the new 351W Airgap Manifold. Anyway hope this helps.

there's a pic of a white w/black stripes? floating around on the internet that has the 79-82 hood scoop bolted on. Apparently the hood scoop is the same width as the raise in the IIs hood. I've been keepin my eyes peeled for the scoop so I can slap one on my cobra, but i've yet to find one cheap, I'll check the other computer later and see if I can find that pic, unless 98CobraClone can get it to it on his before I can.
