You really want that orange peel to stand out? Use Zaino. It is the best polish I have ever used, but it will really show orange peel! You can get some waxes and polishes that hide it a little more. Meguiars carnuba helps. I decided to try the Meguiars NXT wax this year. It is in-between a Zaino finish and a good wax finish, IMO. It made my '95 Black Mustang look GREAT with very little effort. It made my RedFire look a little cold though. I might try putting some carnuba over the NXT which I hear warms up the finish. We can complain about the Ford paint. I know I did when I saw the orange peel on every '05+ car I have seen, but after someone dented the top of my fender (pretty badly) and having a paintless dent repair place fix it (thank God for those places), I can't ****** about it anymore. I am amazed at how much that stuff will flex to a bend and come back out. You can see a small line where the paint was "crushed" a little, but you have to look for it. Also, as for touch-up. I have some stuff they use at the factory. Not sure if it is the same stuff you get at a dealer. It has no label on it. It is a perfect match, but it is hard to touch up metallic. I will only touch up what I HAVE to. Small nicks in the paint might look worse with touch up and I am not comfortable with sanding and buffing on an area of the car to make it perfect!
You know Mothers works good also....I also had received my 06 with a chip on the passengers side fender, right down to the metal.
