Took a turn in the rain, hit a pole (slammed against the drivers side door). I'm very sure it's totalled.. (even the dash board is cracked and the ignition is hard to turn. AIrbags didnt go off though. I had my window down which was a good thing.)

I'll have to try to get some of my parts off to sell. Luckily, the rims are ok except for one that has a small gash (but not bent) and the tires are fine too.. 3 years with the car...no accidents or even tickets, then this. It sucks.

Your car was one of the best looking cars here on Stangnet
    that sucks. :( :nonono:
At least you are ok though Smeech. It's not like you can't replace
your car. From the looks of that pic it looks like you could have
frame damage so,your insurance company will probably total it
if they are smart because the damage will exceed the price of
the car.You should look at it this way Smeech you can use your
insurance money towards a better car like a 03-04 Cobra or a
    07 Subaru STI. :nice:
The best of luck to you Smeech.

Don't worry about requesting that.. I'll let you know in a few days whether or not I can get that off for you.

I'm going to at least swap the grill delete, plenum and tb and tri-ax...and try to get the wheels..

Thanks for the kind words! If it is totaled (and it probably is), I'll be on the lookout for something new... I would go for a 03/04 cobra if they weren't going for $28k+ around here! Too expensive here... I may go with an 06 GT (still some on clearance around here)... I like the interior and the way they drive, but I like the new edge body style better for some reason. If I can find a cool deal on an STI, I'd definently look into it.

    Thanks again :SNSign:

Also you can put your parts in the classifieds here on
Stangnet or you can put them on www.ebay.com .
    Just a thought.

No problem..it's cool talking to you. :nice:
If that is the case go with a car you can live with and you
will enjoy driving everyday.I have seen some excellent deals
on STI's lately because I want to order a 07 Subaru STI and
    have been looking everywhere. :D
If you get a check from your insurance company happy car shopping
and I hope to see you around here on SN.

I about lost it on a dry day a week or so ago. I was coming around a very slow semi sharp corner and simply shifted into 2nd gear, let the clutch out and applied little throttle and the car snapped the back end around. It caught me totally offgaurd... seeing as how when I want it to spin it never does, lol.

Thanks for the support guys.. yeah there's a chance it may be fixable, but there are a lot of things affected that you can't really see in the pic...like the roof (dented), window/windshield frame and the dashboard (cracked) and cluster, and the ignition was very hard to turn (unlocking the wheel to tow)

If the frame is okay, there may be a chance it's fixable..

We'll see, I'll keep everyone posted... I have a few requests on parts..
