Did they make bumper-bumper extended warranties?

I got this guy down to 17k even for a true blue 01 cobra with only 22k miles, original owner, and 1 year bumper to bumper warranty left on it. My question: they made a bumper to bumper extended warranty?

Yes, Ford offers an "extended" warranty plan for new vehicles. Sounds like it might be the Ford "ESP" warranty plan or a comparable extended warranty plan through a private company.

Ask the seller for more specific details about the warranty, as the 3 year/36,000 mile factory warranty has expired by now.

Do a search on Google and you'll find a bunch of more info about the extended warranties out there...

Good advice above. You need to find out whose warranty it is. The after market companies do go out of business from time to time. The Ford warranty has some exclusions for normal wear items, water leaks, adjustments, etc. However, your major components should be covered. Sounds like a reasonable buy.

yea, he said it was a 6 year extended warranty. I'll have to find out the specifics tomorrow afternoon!
