Difference in suspension between 02 and 03 GTs?

I have an 02 Gt and my buddy has an 03 Gt. We measured last night and his car is a 1/2 inch lower in the front, How could this be? he has never done any suspension work.

he has more miles than me, but it couldnt sag that much from wear, could it?

as far as i know, they have the same suspension. the difference could be for a number of reasons. weight, wear, or it was on uneven pavement when you measured.

I think Ford changed their ride height requirements in '03 causing the Mustang to sit slightly higher.

But he said the 03 sits 1/2" lower than the 02?!??!?!?!
