I found some literature on turbo stuff and it said to use an 89-?94? DIS ranger block and swap in a 98-01 2.5 liter crank. It also says to use aftermarket pistons and rods. Will this supply a lot of horsepower and how much? Why can the ranger DIS block be used and not the mustang DIS block? If the 2.5 liter crank goes in will that be sort of a stroker motor?

Did it actually saynot to use the Mustang block or are you assuming? I would go to turboford and do some searches.
