Hi all, I'm a long time lurker with only a few posts but could use some info today. 2001 Stang..... The forward guide for the driver's side window has come out of the track. Has this happened to anyone before? The rear guide is easy to fix but the front looks to be a pain in the butt to work on. I'd appreciate any words of wisdom or notes from experience.
Happened to me too I had to open the whole freakin' door from the inside just to find out what was going on. I tried glueing, didn't work. Then I took it to a glass shop, and they wanted to put in a new window for $300. I took it to another shop, and a guy took the window out and glued it the right way for just half an hour labor. So, you can try it yourself, or you can see if there is a nice shop around you that will help.
