Anybody here know what the difference is, if any, between the e-brake handle setup on our cars, and on the 99-04s? What about the consoles?

I'm planning to put a tunnel-mounted e-brake handle on my 67, and have been looking at the setup on the 95. I think I can make it work, and use the console as well to blend in the floor-mounted handle.

However, the junkyards here only have 99-04s in them. Before I spend the money to buy newer parts, does anyone know if they're radically different from ours?

only real difference on the console is the newer ones have a higher cutout on the bottom at the back for some reason.. I have pictures of them side by side in a recent thread in here...

That's way better than I could have hoped for! Thanks!

You mentioned painting/dying your console and interior parts. How well does that work? Any special materials you recommend? Console parts I'm taking will either be tan or black; I will need blue in my car.

Dyeing it works great.. When you are done, you'd never know it had been any other color...
