E brake light flashes while accelerating????

Well took the car for a ride and while under heavy acceleration the emergency brake light came on for a second or two and then went off. Did this in each gear, i pulled over and set the emergency brake a couple times. I started to drive again and under heavy acceleration it did it again. What would cause this?

if it's not that see if the handle is loose and moves when you accelerate. my does it every once and a while....or if I have a pair of sungalsses or something in that cavity...I said cavity....sometimes it's enough to lift it to trigger the sensor

yeah im gonna say low brake fluid too, happened on my moms grand prix

Happened to me, as well. Leaking from flex hoses were where it was all leaking from.

It doesn't have to be leaking -- the brakes can just be worn as well. Worn brakes will take more fluid from the master cylinder to operate.

had that problem at one time...and yep! its low brake fluid guy...

wow! never thought of that. mine is doing the same thing but i thought it could just be a faulty brake handle switch. gonna go check my brakes and fluid.
