electric exhaust cutouts

    i can't find that progress thread where the guy put a custom exhaust system with electric exhaust cutouts on his mustang... a buddy of mine is considering them for a track car he's building and he wanted to check out the fit and finish... can anyone help me out or am i the only one who remembers it :shrug:

    haha, yeah, we were both watching that together, that's where we got the idea to try them out... it seems like the best company is Quicktime Performance... i was just hoping to get some insight and maybe find that thread because the car the guy was building was sick anyway

    I will be installing some on my car when its together. I cruised the strip down in Myrtle Beach with my cat back disconnected and the reactions I got from people were awesome. Plus you can really hear the cam like crazy. It was awesome.

    Cut-outs date back to the 40's. They are for serious hp cars. (Though they have there dependability issues) Put them on a car with stock hp or close to it mite actually make it slower. But they would score a "100" on the "cool scale" while driving on the street!! :nice:

    Wow that H pipe is like perfect.. I want now :( Wonder how hard it would be to make that..
