well i have tried it by just changing my heads to ed performer rpm and a aderson n 41 cam i should be at 362 hp at 5800 rpm and 366 torque at 4400 but need to know how much drivetrain loss i need to subtract because hp & tq are at the motor not wheel..
it just calculates depentiong on the combo you can change any thing you whan onit like going from a 302 to a 347 the cam size to the heads depending on the flow
rebuilt 302, all my mods are in my sig. heads are professionally ported, supposed to flow close to 351W heads, whatever that is.... stock cam and intake. how much did this program cost?
I've got a program, i believe it's called Desktop Dyno....i've tried it a few times but it always seems really optimistic to me. Plus once you factor in things like porting and air quality it really starts getting vague.
I have Desktop Dyno 2003 and Drag 2003. You can build the motor in Desktop Dyno then import the engine file over to Drag 2003 and it makes simulated passes based on a bunch of specs you put into the program. I think its pretty sweet.
