Exact Place for cable?

Is there a exact route the clutch cable has to go because there is too much slack in mine. I just replaced mine with a steeda adjustable and there is almost no tension. THanks

Are you also using there quadrant and there fire-wall adjuster?

Ditto that, you need the other two Adjustable cables don't work by themselves. Yes, there is a right routing, but it won't change the amount of slack you have.
