exhaust size

I was wondering what the stock exhaust size is. I thought it was 2.25 in. If I were to get a 2.5 inch catback, would it work. If I just got weld in mufflers do they have to be the 2.25 (assuming thats stock size) or can they be 2.5.

stock size is 2.25. a 2.5" cat-back (the whole thing) bolts right up to the stock h-pipe so thats no problem. a competent exhaust shop can fit 2.5" mufflers into the stock tubing, or you can just get 2.25 inlet/outlets
