I've installed an aluminum radiator with electric fan to replace my stock rad and engine fan. Where is a good place to tap into 12v hot with engine running? This is the feed that will energize the relay. Not the one that powers the fan. I got all that part done correctly.

I though I had it all done. However, silly me had tapped into a wire at the diagnostic port. That wire was hot with key in on position but goes dead when engine starts.

I need one that stays hot with engine running only.

    Thanks for your help.

Try the red wire on the low coolant sensor on the radiator overflow tank.
    OR
The red/green wire on the ignition coil.

Both are live with the switch in the Run position.
