Weightdistribution, body roll, and ultimate maneuverability are three veryimportant aspects of racing, be it on the strip or the road course.Ford commonly uses softer control arm bushings made of rubber, whichprovide some degree of comfort, but sacrifice forward and aft supportgreatly. When the bind placed on the control arms reaches a peak point,the result is often instantaneous: handling is reduced and performancesuffers. Replacing the OEM control arms is a great way to stiffen upcontrol and maintain sure-footedness on the track or while prowling thestreet.
