Went to the track last night. I was a little nervous about what to expect but I did better than I hoped for. Here is my best time: (beat a lt1 z28 he ran 13.99 but my r/t was a little better. He needed the driver mod b/c I thought he should be faster)
    RT-.757
    60'-2.12
    1/8ET-9.0979
    1/8MPH-78.73
    1/4ET-14.079
    1/4MPH-98.92

My car:2000 gt 5-speed. JLT ram air, weld in flows, 3.73s.

I ran 14.1-.3s the rest of the night. A few slower than that but I was trying to launch at different rpms. I'm thinking with a little more practice I could see some 13.9x's. What do you guys think?

get DR's and get that 60' down to a 2.0 and you'll be in the 13's.

Were you on street tires? What pressure?

By your location I'm guessing you were at Hub City. That is a decent hooking track early but falls of a bit late.

    when i had 3.73;s and a catback exhaust i ran a 13.8 on a sticky tire

with a drag radial you shoudl be able to do that easily

I was on street tires and I didn't mess with tire pressure at all. I just kept it the normal 32-34 lbs. I would run daily driving. And yes I was at Hub city.

Next time you go, and if you are on street tires, drop the pressure to about 20 lbs. that will get your 60ft down.

Also an unmodded LT1 isn't any faster than you. I've taken down plenty at the track. Driver mod is the best...

what gear were you finishing out the 1/4 in?

also...keep your tires inflated...they are street tires...without air the tire collapses and you'll loose traction

You should have been able to hit a 13.9 with that 60ft. Looks to me like you lost it after the 1/8th.

Yes he should but we don't know what the air was like.

If the DA number was low then he should have gotten a 13.9xat around 100 but since his mph was under 99 I am going to assume the air was not that good, or his track is no at sea level.
