I was searching the internet and found a few books on rebuilding the small block Ford engine and I was wondering peoples opinions on here of which book is the best? I have never rebuilt an engine so this will be my first endeavor into that.

Thanks,
Dan

I have this one:

and this one: BARNES & NOBLE | How to Rebuild the Small Block Ford by George Reid | Paperback

Both are good. I really needed a book on "How to find a qualified machinst in Tucson AZ, to build up your short block" but I did not find one.

Long story with threads on this forum on my plight.

You are in Orland Park, I grew up in Roseland and then lived in Lisle, you have qualified mechanics out there so it should be a snap.

I have a video that takes you step by step to removal, rebuilding, re-installing the engine that is really helpful when you don't know what the book is trying to say, or you need visual guidance. When I get home I can update you on the name of it, since I can't remember the name of it now.
