fuel injector help

I have been following the no start guide and I have figured out that the car is not getting fuel. I have fuel at the schrader valve but the engine is not getting fuel. The injectors have power to the red wire. I have not checked for injection pulse yet. The car did fire when I used a little starting fluid. Where do I go from here. I know I need to check the injection pulse but what controls that pulse? If there is no pulse where do I look, the salt and pepper shakers, electrical connections? Thanks

It sounds like your injectors are not pulsing, definitely check that before you check anything else.

The injectors are controlled by the computer. I'm sure someone here can tell you what to check if your injectors aren't pulsing. That's one of the 5.0 demons I haven't run into yet.
