Gauge Light Question

I am trying to figure out what is wrong with the lights for the gauge on my 67 coupe. It is not that long I have had the car, but at night nothing inside the car comes on. The little green light for lights work and blinkers lights on dash work. The lights on the car, both front and back work. However, the actual gauge lights don't work. I wasn't sure if there could be a burnt bulb or maybe a fuse that controls this. Also the car is an automatic and there is no way to see what gear you are in. Is there suppose to be a light or a marker to show what gear you are in? Could this be a burnt bulb also? Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

sometimes the coiled wire which acts as the resistor which increases decreases the brightness will not make good contact or something just have a broken piece thus not completing the circuit. You could see this by removing the switch and inspecting it.

there is a light in the gear selector, it should come on with the lights.
