how do you figure out the gear ratio of your mustang. i wanna put on a pausy rear end so i get better traction but i need to know the gear ratio so i don't mess up the tranny. like in the rangers it was two numbers that specified which rear end it had.
you have a 7.5 rear end and if you want to keep the same rear gear ratio just use the gears you have.
You mean limited slip. Posi is a GM trademark term. Gear ratio doesn't matter, you would buy a limited slip for a 7.5" axle...or just buy a used 8.8 from a GT. Unless you have 300-400HP, your probably notice an imprivement upgrading your tires to wider, better gripping rubber. Would really help eliminate 1-wheel peel and much cheaper to do.
